Welcome to this 45 min yoga flow which is an an intermediate practice for backbends and hip openers. Today’s class is designed to lift your mood, create space and work on strengthening and opening the whole body!
This flow includes a dynamic warm up and standing flowing sequences that work your whole body to prepare you for backbends. We start in stillness giving you time to check in and then the class gradually builds up to a full body flow with a combination of strength, endurance, flexibility and mobility and we end in a good old savasana!
In this class we will work on heart opening poses, sun salutations, warriors, balances, wild thing and so on! The emphasis of this class is to build strength as well as flexibility to support your body in backbends and hip openers.. and maybe working up into that king pigeon pose!
This class is an intermediate flow but if you are a beginner please don't think it's not for you - give it a go anyway and see what's accessible. As you'll hear me ALWAYS say there's no need to force anything, add in, take away, modify and adjust whatever you want to!

As always, please remember to modify, adjust and make it your own practice. Rest and pause me when you need to! - you don’t have to be able to do the pose to give it a go!
