Hoyland is an ethereal ambient, experimental dark journey into the mind of Marc Azrael Hoyland and was formed in 2006. What with performing in Black Metal bands Ethereal Forest and Heathen Deity, and goth rock bands 13 Candles and The Realm, it was time to explore different and bleaker territory.

Raptures of Darkness (Thee Dark Mix) is a remix track by Priapus23 (Akoustik Timbre Frekuency) for Sombre Soniks Studios and can be found on the download compilation "Dark Ambient - Vol.1". The original version of the track can be found on the Hoyland album "Upon the Mountain Vastlands" (2012) and is available from the label Quartier23.
