Last week, the feed cut out before I could share that I'd gotten an audition while I was shooting that episode! Pretty cool. Later on, I garnered a second audition from last Tuesday's submissions as well! Honestly, not bad. Such a shame OBS crapped out so early in the broadcast. But this time, I'm back on a new, better platform and I can't wait to share what's on my mind with y'all.
This week, I'm going to go back over the salient points from last week that were lost, then talk about what kind of actor I am, talk about my Target Show list, and lay out my plan to take the LA TV scene by storm in 2021.
Time to make some inroads!

=====
People see actors on TV, and they think "wow that looks easy. You just show up, get dressed up in fancy clothes, say some lines, and look awesome. And they get paid to do it!"
They don't see the years of effort, time, and money invested in a Sisyphean career path fraught with constant rejection and disappointment.
They don't see the 98% industry unemployment rate.
They don't understand how many rejections you have to endure just to get one booking.
They don't understand that for every role available on TV, there are on average over 3,000 submissions.
They don't understand the hours and hours spent doing "unsexy" career-related work that has nothing to do with performance, but everything to do with building connections and establishing a brand so decision-makers know you even exist, much less that you are competent and professional.
So, because I'm a masochist (and because I could use a little motivation to do the tougher stuff I know I *should* be doing to further my career), I'm going to show you... the non-glamorous side of chasing a Hollywood TV career.
Welcome to the Unsexy Acting Show.
