Katharine Hepburn, born May 12, 1907 and voted as the number one Female American Screen Legend by AFI, celebrates a birthday today. Hepburn, best known for BRINGING UP BABY, THE PHILADELPHIA STORY and THE AFRICAN QUEEN, was nominated for an Academy Award twelve times and won four.
