Christmas Day 1971 - a VIP party is being held on the top floor of the 22 storey Tae Yun Kak (Daeyeonggak) Hotel. At 10 am an explosion in the second floor coffee shop starts a fire. This will go on to become the deadliest hotel fire in history, claiming the lives of 165 people and seriously injuring 65 more.
