Still feeling terrible even though you have finished chemo? 🤔
You are no alone survivor sister!
Your oncology team may not be able to give you next steps in terms of your cancer recovery so I want to give you a check list here! Save this reel so you can come back to this later!
Let’s start your cancer recovery today! Here we go!
✅MOVE YOUR BODY IN A WAY YOU ENJOY! The first step in hitting target exercise levels to support your recovery and remission is to start moving. Start with whatever is enjoyable to you - yoga, walking, swimming, stretching. Start today. Start small.
🍴EAT MORE PROTEIN Include some protein at each meal (breakfast, lunch, and supper). Most women I work with in the Cancer Freedom Program are not eating enough protein. Start with foods like tuna, chicken, chickpeas, shrimp, or eggs
🧠BUILD A CANCER FREEDOM MINDSET The biggest secret to cancer recovery is mindset! If you are unable to unlock a cancer freedom mindset, then you will be limited in your recovery success. Start by listening to the thoughts you have throughout the day and then write them down. Awareness is your first step.
⚖️ACHIEVE A HEALTH BODY WEIGHT. Keeping a healthy body weight while you navigate cancer and recovery will help with many long-chemo side effects: hot flashes, joint pain, exhaustion, remission. Some of the most compelling science backed literature surrounds maintaining a healthy body weight. Of course, this is not easy - especially when on hormone suppressing medications.
Many of these points you probably already know… If you’ve tried starting this type of checklist but have failed to incorporate it as part of your routine then connect with me!
