This video documents two crucial lessons we learned from Guinea Pigs!
First lesson: Guinea pigs prefer Asparagus Family Plants over Arums Family Plants. The former usually have longer streamlined leaves and shallow roots. The leaves of the Asparagus Family store most of the plant's nutrition. Thus, it is worthy of piggies' time to eat them!
Arum Family Plants have big, chunky roots. They store nutrients in roots and make their wide panel leaves look beautiful (but with fewer nutrients for animals). Also, Guinea Pigs' front legs and subtle lips are not designed for digging roots.
Bubbles shows us that even within dry-out leaves, on the first try, she still picks out the right one that she could have eaten!
The second lesson is Guinea pigs eat their first round poop, which stores a lot of not-yet-digested nutrients. Bubbles shows us that she knows this first-round poop is precious and that she would wait quietly for her 'vitamin pill' to form and then eat it fresh!

Also, this video captures Bubbles' high-pitched chirping, which shows Bubbles' happiness and excitement when she is eager to have fun!
