In this video, my sister is showing how to make Japanese style baby food, which she cooks everyday for her 1 year and 3 months old son.
How to cook Japanese style Baby Food
Rice Porridge:
- Rice 1 合 (180 ml)
- Water (five times more water than rice) 900 ml
Chicken soup with vegetables:
- Chicken 100 g
- Vegetables* (for ex. Carrots, Potatoes or Nappa cabbage)
- Water 1 cup
- Soy sauce 1 Tbsp
- Starch 1 Tsp
(mixed in another 1 Tbsp of water)
*This recipe can be made with any vegetable or meat (or of course without any meat).
