Pulsar Axion 2 XQ35 and Axion 2 LRF XQ35 Thermal Imaging Spotters - Photo collection, all images from Pulsar NV. The thermal sensor resolution is 384x288, 17µm (Made by Lynred) with a VGA AMOLED display. The objective lens is F35/1.0 with a 2-8x magnification. A low magnification is generally preferred for a thermal monocular. The Field of View is 18.2 m at 100 meters.
According to the description Pulsar promises an enhanced image quality and longer battery life. According to Pulsar the XQ36s can detect a standard 1.8 m tall object up to 1300 meters away in complete darkness, and the battery is said to be able to power the device for 11 hours of continuous use.
The version with the integrated Laser Range Finder (LRF) has a range of up to 1000 metres (measuring distance).
