Palestinians in Gaza have resorted to grinding livestock feed and bird feed to make bread for themselves, amid severe food shortages and looming famine. The situation is compounded by the blockage of aid trucks into Gaza.
“This wheat is intended for animal consumption,” said MEE correspondent Mohammed al-Hajjar. “It’s not the high-quality type made for humans.”
