First Off, the MotoPump starts at $79.00. Is it small enough and durable enough to warrant the cost? How long does it take to pump up the tire on your bike? Of course, this will depend on the size of the tire, how low your air is at the time and whether or not your engine is running when you use it.
I inflated my front tire on my 2000 Road King Classic with the engine off. I wanted to see if it would put a huge drain on the battery. My bike started right up after I used the MotoPump. It took between 4 minutes to 4:30 If I'm giving room for error. The thing I like about the MotoPump is that it's really small so I can put it in a backpack or my saddlebags without using much space. I believe the price is worth it because the pump doesn't have to be shut off after a few minutes of use. I've seen cheaper pumps that get very hot and they need a break after 10-15 minutes of use.
My buddy Mark Baker has had his original MotoPump for 7 years at the time of this review. He's taken it in every vehicle during travel and he reports that it's extremely durable. I say this pump is a winner! Check Mark out on TikTok as 1authenticbiker.
