The monasteries of Metamórphosis, Varlaám, Rousánou, Agía Triáda, Agios Stéfanos and Agios Nikólaos Anapavsás are still inhabited today and can also be visited. Each of the monasteries is closed on a different day, so they are never all closed at the same time.
