Nothing better than a smooth Tail wheel.. Nothing worse than a loose or sloppy shimmy...
It should break at the stops, like this, not be sloppy.. A sloppy tailwheel can contribute to serious handling problems, and a potential for Ground loop
Consult your A&P/IA!. The Adjustment nut is in the lower fork. Also tighten the axle until its restricted a little like you see, then back off approx 1/2 turn.. keeps the bushings seated but not stressed. Grease pivot every 20 or so landings, grease axle 1-2 squirts same.. Dont over grease axle or it will pop out the bushings. Enjoy a long tailwheel Life.. Carry a spare tube or tube/tire. I use 45 Lb of air for the Husky.
Always Consult your CFI, and A&P/AI..
