Public Issue is generally done in 2 ways – IPO (Initial Public Offering) for first time listing and FPO (Follow-On Public Offer or Further Public Offer). Process is same for both. SEBI recommends Book Building Issue over Fixed Price Issue. In this video we will understand why. We will understand how an Investment Bank (Book Running Lead Manager) prices the IPO by studying demand and market forces. We will also see the issue timeline right from Red Herring Prospectus and Issue Open Date to Issue Close Date & Listing on NSE or BSE.
