In this video I compare four popular portable radios on a distant signal, Reach Beyond Australia, during daytime, with the MLA30+ loop antenna. This is 11900 kHz at 13:38 UTC, 15:38 CAT, my local time. Transmitter in Kununurra, Western Australia, 100 kW. Signal is aimed at Nepal, received in Johannesburg, South Africa. Bright sunshine and blue skies outside during this recording!

The radios are the XHDATA D-808, XHDATA D-109, Retekess V115 and Eton Elite Traveler III. All four of the radios do quite well with the MLA30+ loop antenna, but I think one of them seems to just process the signal much better, and it also sounds much better than all the others.
