"Barrio Fino: En Directo" is the second live album by Puerto Rican artist Daddy Yankee. It serves as a live follow-up to his album "Barrio Fino." This album marks the first release under the El Cartel Records / Interscope Records partnership. Due to the album's immense success, a contract for three more albums was offered. "Barrio Fino: En Directo" includes five new and exclusive songs, with notable hits like "Rompe," "Machucando," and "Gangsta Zone." It features collaborations with North American rappers Snoop Dogg and Paul Wall, as well as the live participation of the duo Zion & Lennox.

In 1991, Yankee coined the term "reggaeton" to describe a fresh music style originating in Puerto Rico, which eventually gained global popularity.
