Phyllis is a member of Science for Peace, the Hiroshima Day Coalition, the Canadian Voice of Women for Peace and is a contributor to Peace Magazine. Alice serves on the Board of Directors of World BEYOND War, is the UN NGO Representative of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation and she is on the Board of the Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space, the Global Council of Abolition 2000, and the Advisory Board of Nuclear Ban-US. Janet is an organizer with Secure Scotland, is the Scotland Parliament Liaison for the Women’s International League for Peace & Freedom, is the Vice Chair of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and is the Scottish Parliament Disarmament Cross Party Group Secretary. She is a contributor to new WILPF 2020 report entitled Assuring Destruction Forever.

In this webinar, we will focus on NATO’s role in preventing member states from joining the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and how this military alliance impedes progress on nuclear disarmament and global peace. We will also discuss how we can challenge and work together to dismantle NATO. With our webinar, VOW is raising women’s voices against militarism and for a feminist peace.
