GIMPVILLE IS AN AWARD WINNING VFX AND ANIMATION STUDIO, CELEBRATING ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY IN 2012.
Gimpville began its journey back in 2002 with two artists driven by a vision of revolutionizing the Norwegian VFX industry. Today the company has grown to a medium size studio with over six hundred productions behind us.
Our main office is situated in the heart of Oslo, just by the royal castle and parliament building. In addition we also have a smaller facility in the city of Tonsberg.
In 2009 and 2010 Gimpville was awarded with a national “pioneering excellence” award – an award that is given to Norwegian companies which has shown outstanding business results within the last four years.
PRODUCTION PIPELINE
Our production pipeline consists of Autodesk Maya, Autodesk Motionbuilder, Autodesk Mudbox, Pixologic ZBrush, Side FX Houdini, The Foundry Nuke X, a Naturalpoint motion capture studio and Maxon Bodypaint. Our render pipeline is based around SideFX Mantra.
