Maekjeok / Soybean paste Marinated Pork
Ingredients
pork shoulder, loin, thinly sliced 500g
Marinade
Korean soybean paste 2 Tbsp
Soy sauce 1 Tsp
Rice wine 2 Tbsp
Water 1 Tbsp
Sugar 1 Tsp
Sesame oil 1 Tsp
Ground black pepper 1/2 Tsp
Toasted sesame seeds 1 Tsp
Garlic, minced 1 Tsp
Simple salad
Korean chive 50g
Dressing
Soy sauce 1 Tbsp
Rice vinegar 1 Tbsp
Chili flakes 1/3 tsp
Brown sugar 1/2 tsp
Sesame oil 1 Tsp
Instruction
1. Combine all the marinade ingredients in a bowl and mix
2. Add the meat and mix well. Marinade for 1 hour
3. Make a simple salad. Make a dressing.Trim vegetables. Cut them in 3cm lengths
4. Heat a pan over medium high heat and add the marinated pork to the pan. Spread the meat to cook them evenly. Turn over a couple of times until brown
5. Plate cooked meat. Toss the salad and serve with pork barbecue
