Long before he began working at Superior HealthPlan, Carlos had a personal experience with Medicaid in Texas. At the age of 9 months, his son was diagnosed with a disorder called Craniosynostosis, which causes the skull to close prematurely and requires surgery and a range of other healthcare services.
