If you’ve ever re-indexed torsion bars on 65-87 early 911 series cars to correct ride height, you can really appreciate the benefits of Elephant Racing’s QuickChange Spring Plates.
QuickChange spring plates make fast-work of height adjustment and corner balancing and even allow easy torsion bar re-indexing and replacement. The Screw-type adjuster has a broad range of adjustments and makes corner balancing and ride height adjustment a breeze. They pair the high quality of the factory design with ease of servicing.
Used in combination with our QuickChange Torsion Bars and Polybronze bearings, this spring plate allows rapid replacement or re-indexing of torsion bars for 65-88 short and long-wheelbase 911 series cars.
QuickChange Torsion Bars can be extracted through the QuickChange Spring Plate without removing any bolts. Alignment settings are maintained and you don’t even need to remove the wheel from the car. Changing torsion bars is an easy operation!
Unlike other aftermarket spring plates, QuickChange Spring Plates bolt the plates together. This prevents the plate's “halves” from sliding against each other and eliminates failures and metallic clicking noises common with competing products.
Kits for ’69-’86 long-wheelbase cars include a screw-type height adjuster. Kits for ’65-’68 short-wheelbase cars use an eccentric bolt height adjuster for improved tire clearance.
If you wanted to keep the original flat plate from your adjustable spring plates on your 77-88 year car you could add on our Quick Change Spring Plate Splined Hubs, which feature the same benefits as the full kit except you would maintain the original flat plates that came with your car.
Available for 1965-1986 short and long-wheelbase 911 and 912’s, also 1975-1988 long-wheelbase 930s. Quick Change Spring Plate Splined Hubs are available for 65-88 911 and 930 models.
