Seven Seas of Rhye (10th song from 1st album)
Before becoming a Queen II hit, Seven Seas Of Rhye... appears as an instrumental postlude on the group's first album. The theme, signed by Freddie, is a draft when the band records Queen, but Roger Taylor highlights its importance in the album's track list.
The song, then unfinished, was reworked by Freddie Mercury, and would be selected to become the album's only single, with Brian May's previously unreleased See What A Fool I've Been on the B-side.
Success would come after the band performed in front of ten million viewers during the BBC's Top of the Pops main broadcast on February 21, 1974
