This Spanish village was built for the 1929 World Exposition over an area of 40 000 m² and showcases typical buildings and squares following the architecture from the different Spanish regions. Besides that you will find more than 40 craftspeople displaying traditional arts and crafts, who let you observe their skills in the making. Here you can also enjoy traditional Mediterranean cuisine specials, good wines or chocolate creations by famous masters.

The main square, situated in the entrance, hosts festivals and concerts – sometimes with free admission. But be aware there is usually an admission fee to enter Poble Espanyol.

While wandering through the park of sculptures to the church of San Miquel, depending on the season, you can also see beautifully created gardens. ( everything by bcn)
