The Arizona State House of Representatives is the lower house of the Legislature, made up of 60 Representatives, two from each of Arizona’s 30 legislative districts. The term of office is for two years. The House can draft, introduce and vote on legislation. Along with the Senate, the House approves the state’s annual budget. The House can enact bills that are referred to voters for approval, and can place constitutional amendments on the ballot.
