We just discovered that our sheep's baby has dropped and it is just days before the lamb arrives! Our sheep is pregnant and our ewe is ready to give birth. Although in this video I jump the gun thinking its going to happen, we are definitely on baby animal watch on the hobby farm. This is how to tell when a ewe is close to lambing, notice some of the subtle signs that show our ewe is lambing. This pregnant sheep is about to be a mum, she has had lambs before, but we are excited that she could have her lamb any day now. As this will be the first lamb born on the homestead. Bring on Spring time and new life on the homestead. We need more baby animals on the homestead, it is probably one of the most joyous experiences.
