Mr. Robot constantly tears us down from our moral high ground. It's full of hypotheticals and ethical dilemmas. The show throws you out into the blue to make judgements of your own with no guidance whatsoever.
This is quite possibly my favourite scene in the entire show. It made me think about how certain and emotional I can be about things. How I tend to view things as black and white. That the truth is in many scenarios (even when it's simply gangsters playing basketball) multi faceted. It makes me think about compassion and how we often overlook the relevance of perspective.
Then again what the fck do I know? I still can't seem to figure out the foundational philosophy of the show. Maybe there isn't anything at all. Sam Esmail has created a concoction of philosophical jargon, created an Ethos surrounding numerous villainous characters like I've never seen before and quite possibly the cutest relationship since Brokeback mountain and it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
And that's my truth.
That's all I got.
