Inspired by Sethbling's infinite storage system, though intsead of returning a specific chest minecart this one extracts items from the stack of chest minecarts directly.

It uses a hopper minecart instead of a regular hopper block for faster transfer rates (20 ips compared to the usual 2.5). The sorter above also uses a double chest linked to 2 hopper chains, which doubles the transfer speed (5 ips).

Faster sorting speeds may be achieved (theoretically) by using dropper chains instead (though its going to make it bulkier), or by using stacked hopper minecarts instead of chest minecarts, and then dispensing a shulker box on top of the stack for the user to place items on (will be incredibly fast, but at the cost of storage space).

The whole contraption fits in a 5x7x5 space (2 less on the Y axis if you remove the push minecart circuit, or by relocating the lever at the bottom block of the torch and the placing a repeater behind the torch facing towards it). There is also a piston-less version that uses powered rails instead to move the minecarts back and forth, but the noise they make when they move can get quite loud, which is why I opted for this design instead.

Do note that this system only works for stackable items. Placing non-stackable items won't break the system, but they will clog the storage and it will be hard to get them out once they're there.
