Hello everyone, in this video we will talk about the characters coming from update 4.8 to 5.2

Starting with version 4.8, we can expect Emilie to be released, likely in the first phase since most new characters are introduced in the initial phase. Nilou is also expected to have a rerun banner. In the main event for this version, both Nilou and Kirara will receive their first character skins.

While Nilou being featured in the main event and receiving a skin does not guarantee she will have a banner, looking at the character rerun schedule, she is one of the characters who has gone the longest since their last appearance on a banner.

For the second phase of 4.8, Wriothesly and Navia are two characters who have not had reruns since their initial releases, so they are likely candidates for this phase. Alternatively, one of them could be swapped out for Nilou, moving her to the second phase.

The chronicled wish mechanic is still somewhat of a mystery. We've only seen it used once so far in version 4.5, so it's speculative to guess who or when it will be featured again. The most logical assumption would be that it appears in version 4.8, focusing on Liyue characters, as 4.8 is the last version before the new Fontaine region is introduced, and developers may not have enough banner slots to rerun older characters in the Natlan region.

Moving on to version 5.0 and the new Natlan region - one thing we can say with confidence is that older Archon characters will start receiving more frequent reruns with the release of this new area. Zhongli, for example, had reruns in versions 3.0 and 4.0, so he is likely to appear again in 5.0.

According to leaks from Uncle K, version 5.0 will introduce two new 5-star characters - one catalyst user and one claymore user. The identities of these characters are unconfirmed, but they may be Iansan or Xbalanque, as Xbalanque has been referenced and Iansan has appeared in the Teyvat story trailer.

The final banner slot in 5.0 could go to a rerun of Shenhe, as it will have been 12 patches since her last appearance, making her a good candidate for the next chronicled wish event, if it does not occur in 4.8 as speculated.

In version 5.1, we can expect to see one new 5-star character release. Leaks suggest this may be a new 5-star Geo female support character, or potentially even the Pyro Archon, as Archons tend to release in x.1 or x.2 versions. The other rerun in this version will likely be the next Archon, which could be Venti given his recent x.1 patch appearances.

Early patches of the Natlan region, such as 5.1 and 5.2, may also feature the debuts of characters like Arlecchino and Xianyun, with Xianyun potentially being held back for the next Lantern Rite event.
