'Boris Johnson RESIGNS Claiming ‘Witch Hunt’ Over Partygate'

Boris Johnson has resigned as an MP after receiving a report by the Privileges Committee investigating him over the Partygate scandal.

He accused the Commons investigation of trying to “drive" him "out of Parliament” in his resignation statement.

The Former British Prime Minister also claimed he was a victim of a “witch hunt” and labelled the Committee a “kangaroo court”.

His announcement came hours after revealing his resignation honours list which included several aides and loyal MPs involved in Partygate.
