Daniel McLaughlin had Buerger's Disease which is known only to be caused by cigarette (tobacco) smoking. The resulting blood supply obstructions eventually require amputations and cause organ failure. Another example of tobacco's unimaginable harm.

It was ten years ago this month (March) — On March 15, 2012 a Florida appellate court upheld dismissal of Dan's claim against the tobacco companies. Dan's fight for justice in the courts was lost.
A few days later, we lost Dan. Daniel McLaughlin passed away March 19, 2012 at the age of 56. Dan inspired all he met to never give up no matter the rejection and set-backs encountered in life. He was one remarkable man and we continue to miss him greatly.
