Flatland Music Feature is a spotlight series featuring Saskatchewan musicians. In this series we get an inside look into the artistic process of some of Saskatchewan’s best music artists, as well as performances of their works.
Karley Parovsky is a violin/fiddle player and teacher. With roots in classical music, Karley has spent time on and off travelling the world to learn from masters of the instrument in genres ranging from fiddle, to funk, to bluegrass, and beyond. Karley has played with the Regina Symphony Orchestra for 20 years and has had many other opportunities to make music with groups such as Andino Suns, and Wolf Willow. She is currently working on composing pieces for the violin with multiple parts emoting the feelings that were a constant throughout the pandemic.
