This is the all-new Peugeot 5008 SUV and it is a departure from the MPV it replaces. Sporting a new stylish design, the handsome 5008 takes many characteristics from the popular 3008 SUV. Our test car was powered by a 178bhp 2.0 litre BlueHDi diesel engine pair to its 6 speed automatic transmission. Peugeot claim 64 MPG combined.
The Peugeot 5008 SUV seats 7 with the middle row being adjustable. High quality design makes the Peugeot i-Cockpit which features a 12.3 inch drivers display. An 8 inch touchscreen infotainment display comes standard. Boot space is 1060 litre withs he rearmost seats folded flat.
Peugeot has yet to release full pricing for the new 5008, but expect it to be around £2,000 more than an equivalent 3008 SUV. It will go on sale in July.
