On day 6 (June 5) we continued our journey from the lonely Horse Springs Church, which protected us from the storm. We head back into hilly badlands. Suddenly a horned lizard crossed our path 😳 - never seen before! And a cow chases Marion - she wins the sprint! 😜

We find shade under a tree and take in the beauty - it’s easy to connect to a meditative calm presence out here.

We rode 38 miles to world-renowned Pie town where we enjoy delicious pie and stay at the famous CDT self-regulated Toaster House.

And, the special treat - we meet the amazing GDMBR rider community again and enjoy the evening together.
