Akuma (also known as Gouki) is a fictional character in the popular Japanese fighting game series, Street Fighter. Created by Capcom, the character is an anti-hero who opposes the series' main antagonist, M. Bison.

Akuma is known for his mastery of martial arts and has combined techniques from two different schools to create his own unique style. A symbolic feature of the character is the shoto fighting style that he learned from his deceased brother, Gouken, who was killed by Akuma and later rescued by a demon. Akuma is an incredibly powerful fighter who can easily defeat his opponents, and some of his abilities include fireballs, a flying quadruple kick, and a large Hadouken attack.

Akuma's character design includes elements such as a blank facial expression, a dark charisma, a unique outfit, and a mysterious symbol on his body. He often appears as a secret character in the games, and players must fulfill special conditions to unlock him.
