EU4Business gives Georgian Business and Government access to over GEL 160 million to support enterprise development in light of Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement with EU.
EU4Business in Georgia encompasses a technical and financial assistance package of separate EU-funded programmes cumilatively worth over GEL 160 million (€62 million) which include support to the Georgian Government in trade and private sector reforms and development of the 2016-2020 Georgian SME Strategy, assistance to Georgian SMEs in adaptating to EU standards and access to finance and business advice, and actions to strengthen business supporting organisations.
Future elements of EU4Business will include increased fincial products under the DCFTA FacilityThe DCFTA facility supports Georgian SMEs competitiveness, through access to a regional fund of GEL 520 million (€200 million) that should lead to GEL 5.2 billion (€2 billion) in investments in the three countries that signed up to the DCFTA.
