This is a step by step instructional video on how to change out the CR-2032 battery on your garage door opener remote. The unit shown is a Chamberlain, but other brands such as Stanley, Craftsman, Liftmaster, Genie, Marantec and Skylink are similar.

My garage door opener stopped working. No lights, no nothing. Turns out that after many years the batteries had simply gone dead. Replacing the batteries was not hard and immediately put it back in service. Hope this helps.
