Overlooking the quaint village of Glandford, Norfolk stands the beautiful St. Martin's Church, which was constructed from ruins of an older building by Sir Alfred Jodrell at the turn of the 20th Century.
One of its unique delights is that of a 12-bell carillon, which automatically plays a hymn tune on the strike of every third hour.
A different hymn is played each day. The tune played in this video is that of "Jerusalem on High".
Often heard but not seen, this video is a rare treat as it shows the carillon's workings in action.
Thanks go to the Churchwardens Robin Combe and Mick Gill, who granted me permission to make this film.
