The movie 9 Satra (The Legend of Muaythai) is a great accomplishment for Thai animation.
Taking over 200 million Baht to produce and four years in production, the movie 9 Satra the biggest animation project made in Thailand thus far.

9 Satra tells the story of a young man named Odd who is destined to take back the kingdom Ramthep from the merciless Lord Dehayaksa. Of course, he is not alone, fighting with his three friends. Red Asura, the kindhearted crimson ogre with his best friend, the hyperactive monkey, Vata. Also on Odd's side is the Chinese pilot Xiaolan. The four of them must help each other to fight against the king of the ogres, Dehayaksa. Will they succeed on their mission? Let's join them on their adventure in this exciting Thai animation that perfectly mixes fantasy and Muay Thai. Be sure to follow along on Odd's journey in 9 Satra, released January 11th.
