To download betacraft just click the download button and follow the instructions, then launch it and select b1.9 pre3 (it is sorted so that the oldest version are at the top and the newest version are at the bottom, b1.9 pre3 is near the bottom)

ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE: this is an old, unstable version of minecraft (that's why it was removed from the launcher) so there are a lot of things that could go wrong, just keep that in mind when playing on this version

Also I know the end portal frames are weird in this version, you don't have to point it out, this is just what the early development of minecraft looks like
