A nicely textured stitch made with open work type of knitting. Great for any season.
Openwork Knots
Multiple of 3
Use the needles that the yarn calls for.
You could use one size larger if you want a more open look.
k=knit
yo= yarn over
ws= wrong side
rs=right side
Repeat from * to *
Row 1.- ws.- Purl
Row 2.- rs.- k2, *yo k3, then the first of the 3 stitches goes over the last 2*
End with k1.
Row 3.- ws.- Purl
Row 4.- k1, *k3, then the first of the 3 stitches goes over the last 2, yo*
End with k2.
Repeat these 4 rows for pattern.
