Kanchana is a sequel to Muni and the second film in the installment of Muni film series. The third film in the series is Muni 3: Kanchana 2 featuring Raghava Lawrence, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen and Kovai Sarala among others.

Plot : Raghava, a jobless youth, is petrified of ghosts. In order to play cricket, he and his friends are forced to go to a ground that is rumoured to be haunted. Later, they experience supernatural events.
