Kids can use melted crayons to decorate their Easter eggs this year. The Volcano Eggsplosion kit comes with six wax crayons and a crayon shaver for making crayon shavings to sprinkle over the eggs. While you're hardboiling the eggs, shave the crayons to produce shavings in the colors you want. Once the eggs are ready, do not rinse them with cold water. Using tongs, place the hot eggs on newspaper and sprinkle the crayon shavings over the eggs. The heat from the egg will help melt the crayon shavings. While kids are waiting for the eggs to cool off, they can punch out the 12 perforated discs on the back of the package, decorate with crayons, and string them together to create a necklace or bracelet.
