You have elements of punk and of bohemia all strewn together with space-age bovver boots, mohairs, elongated tunic tops and other Brit-pop symbols. However the 'radical' elements of the Costume National line are suprisingly toned down into a line that can be regarded as quite contemporary and relevant to today's basic men's styles. Call it "hipster-chic," if you will.
