While the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is advertised that it can charge at 45w. It only does 45w if the phones battery is below 20%. Once the battery reaches over 20% the charging watts drop to around 35w. Than after the battery reaches 50% the charging power drops even more to 25w than slowly decreases as the battery gets full.
So is a 45w charger really necessary? in my opinion no it's not. A 25w charger will work just fine and only takes an additional 10-15 minutes to charge compared to a 45w charger.
