Nvidia Jetson Xavier NX is used as an upper-level controller.
The software stack is built on Ubunutu 18.06 and ROS Melodic.
The vehicle is equipped with a Hokuyo 10lx LiDAR.

It was originally founded at the University of Pennsylvania in 2016 but has since spread to many other institutions worldwide.
