At the age or nineteen, Chopin wrote the first twelve etudes. Later he wrote twelve more. Plus even two more. All twentyseven etudes, were published during Chopins lifetime. The first group was published in 1837 in some countries, Chopin presented entirely new technical challenges, and the etudes, became a part of the regular concert reptertoire. - Chopin was still a teenager, when he wrote the Revolutionary Etude
