How should you as the seller prepare for the Appraiser?
Jason Hubbard here with Loyalty Home Group in Arizona. Here are some key tips on how to prepare for the appraiser.
Prepare a word document with a list of all upgrades done to the property since you purchased it. If you have the info put the price is next to each upgrade, even if it’s an estimate.
Make sure you’re home clean.
Make sure your yard is landscaped, including cleaning up after your pets.
Be flexible with your schedule, as the appraiser is an important part of the process, and has a busy schedule. The fact of the matter is, you can’t get your loan without the appraisal.
And finally, give the appraiser some space and let them do their job. Ask questions when they are finished with their inspection.
