The Mexic-Arte Museum in Austin, Texas, has unveiled its "40 Years of Día de los Muertos" exhibition, highlighting decades of artwork and cultural contributions related to the Day of the Dead celebration; the exhibit runs from September 22, 2023, to January 7, 2024, and features community memorials and a special mural by Mauro de la Tierra. Additionally, the museum will host the 40th Annual Viva La Vida Festival and Parade on October 28, in collaboration with the Austin Convention Center and the City of Austin.
