Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Feb. 14, 2023: This Valentine's Day has officially been the warmest since 1984 (via the Cleveland Hopkins recording site). We've officially made it in the low-50s which at least ties the warmth experienced on this day of 1984. It's been so mild...and even sunny too!
Clouds will increase tonight ahead of shower chances mainly overnight. We'll sneak in moments of sunshine tomorrow too after the bulk of the system impacting us in the next 12 hours or so exits. Tomorrow's main story onto of the added warmth will be the wind. A Wind Advisory has already been posted for part of NE Ohio (especially areas south and west of the metro) ahead of our next big system. When does this go into effect? It starts at 4AM tomorrow morning and continues until 4PM Wednesday. 60 degree heat can't just magically show up to NE Ohio without something helping transport the warmth...you can thank a good ole warm front and of course the breeze associated with it. Winds gusts could top 40mph at times. Where do temperatures go? Highs tomorrow could come close to record setting warmth across part of NE Ohio and the Buckeye State as a whole. High could differ slightly dependent on exact position of the low though. Closer to the lake, we could be a touch cooler in the mid-60s range; however, folks south could approach 70. It's not only position of the low that matters, how much sunshine we see matters too.
