A parallel race of acceleration between two well-known trains #03048 Viswabharati Special and #13046 Mayurakshi Express occurs as both the trains depart Rampurhat Junction simultaneously at 5:30 am, Mayurakahi being on time and Viswabharati 20 minutes behind its schedul. The simultaneous departure caters to the simultaneous acceleration comparing clearly between the power of WAP-7 and WAP-4. The continuation of the race gets blocked near Tarapith Road (TPF) for the approach of Kamakhya - Puri Weekly Express Via - Adra on the Reverse track on which the ICF Mayurakshi was enjoying the race. Mayurakshi had to stop until the LHB Viswabharati departed Tarapith and cleared the Down Mail Track which, after a few moments, became the track of Mayurakshi.
